Qualifications musts:

Spectroscopy experience a must. Prefer experience with UV-visible-NIR, Raman, IR, and/or lasers.
Advanced understanding of UV-visible-NIR spectroscopy and analytical approaches.
Extensive knowledge of optics and spectrophotometer design.
Hand-on experience in instrument design, construction and testing.
Programming skills with Labview and Visual Basic a plus.
Master or Equivalent in Physics, Chemistry or Engineering. PhD is a plus.
Skills:

Excellent organizational skills.
Excellent communication skills, as evidenced by customer contact track record or experience in support organizations.
Demonstrated teamwork skills, including ability to work effectively across organizational and geographic boundaries.
Ability to think independently.
Desired experience and qualifications:

Broad experience or educational background in chemistry, physics or biochemistry.
Publication record and industry knowledge.
Knowledge of spectroscopy marketplace.
