The
Microfluorometer, a
microspectrophotometer
configured for fluoresence, is used to
MEASURE
the fluorescence spectra of microscopic samples.
Microfluorometry can be done by
luminescence or
fluorescence with these instruments.
However, they are also capable
of measuring transmittance,
absorbance, reflectance
microspectra from the deep
ultraviolet through to the near
infrared. With specialized
software, thin film thickness,
colorimetry and other phenomena may
also be
ANALYZED
by microspectroscopy.
A
CRAIC Technologies™
microfluorometer is a
purpose-built, integrated system
that allows you to measure UV-visible-NIR range
fluorescence microspectra non-destructively and
with little or no sample preparation.
You can use them to
measure
the
UV-visible-NIR range transmittance,
absorbance, reflectance,
polarization microspectra in
addition to the fluorescence of
sample areas smaller than a
micron. They are also capable of
non-destructive and non-contact colorimetry
and thin film thickness measurement.
In addition to microfluorometry,
they are also capable of digital
imaging and some can even be
equipped to perform UV or NIR
microscopy.
