CRAIC Technologies Instrument Applications ![]() ![]()
Introduction
CRAIC Technologies™ manufactures scientific instruments ranging from its premier UV-visible-NIR microspectrophotometer to UV, visible, NIR and SWIR microscopes to a robust Raman microspectrometer, as well as a host of accessories. These instruments are used for many diverse fields of research and industry. We have designed our systems to be flexible so we can combine different packages to give you the perfect solution and cutting-edge results. UV-Vis-NIR MicrospectrophotometerThe microspectrophotometer is designed to measure the absorbance, reflectance, fluorescence and emission spectra of microscopic samples in the ultraviolet, visible and near infrared.Materials Science, Chemistry & Physics

The microscope photometer measure the intensity of light from a microscopic sample. This light may either be reflected from the sample, transmitted through the sample or emitted from the sample by such processes as electroluminescence or fluorescence.Biological

UV MicroscopeThe UV microscope is designed to image microscopic sample features by absorbance, reflectance, fluorescence and emission in the ultraviolet, visible and near infrared. While the usable spectral range of this microscope covers the UV, visible and near infrared regions, their optics and light sources are optimized so that they are more effective in the UV region. As such, there are many uses for UV microscopes as they can non-destructively image microscopic samples in regions other than the visible.Pharmaceutical & Biology

The NIR microscope is designed to image in regions beyond the visible range. While the usable spectral range of this microscope covers the ultraviolet, visible and NIR regions, their optics and light sources are optimized so that they are more effective in the NIR region. As such, there are many uses for NIR microscopes as they can non-destructively image microscopic samples in regions other than the visible.Pharmaceutical & Biology

The bonds formed between atoms have specific vibrational frequencies that correspond to the atom's masses and the strength of the bond between them. Complex molecules therefore exhibit many peaks and can be readily identified by the pattern or "fingerprint" created by those peaks. As such, there are many uses for micro Raman spectrometers as they can non-destructively identify microscopic samples or microscopic areas of larger samples. Pharmaceutical
