For full time support, a service contract offers high priority response as well as technical support. CRAIC Service Contracts are the most cost effective solution for supporting your instrument. In addition to service contracts, we also offer a variety of Fee-based On-Demand Services that will fit your budget and needs.

CRAIC Technologies™ offers a number of installation and training services in order to get the most out of your new CRAIC Technologies™ instrument. Scientific Concierge Services™ will help you select the best plan and then schedule delivery, installation and training for you.

If an onsite installation plan is selected, a CRAIC Technologies™ trained engineer will install and qualify your instrument. Each installation engineer is committed to providing the highest level of service and has been thoroughly trained to insure delivery and proper operation of your new tool. After the instrument has been installed and tested, our engineer will provide you with an overview of the operation of your new instrument. Additional training is also available and includes the scientific background as well as personalized, hands-on training with the instrument and its various features.

Silver Service Contract

This plan includes phone and email support with discounted rates for on-site service calls.

On-Demand Service Support: only pay for what you need when you need it

Sometimes phone and email support is not enough. Occasionally, there are times when you may need to send a part in for repair, or a service engineer will need to go on-site to fix your instrument. CRAIC service engineers have broad range of experience and expertise to quickly identify the problem and solve it. CRAIC offers several service solutions for CRAIC instruments and accessories.

In-house Service
Some problems are best resolved at our facility. In our factory, we have the necessary tools and parts to fix most problems. We know that time is valuable, that is why in-house service events have rapid response and quick turnaround time.

On-site Service Call
When a problem occurs, our main goal is to help customers get their instruments operational. An on-site service call allows a qualified engineer to evaluate your instrument as a whole. He or she will work on-site to help get your system up and running again.

On-site preventative maintenance visits

Preventative maintenance is the best way to avoid repair issues. Recertify your traceable standards today

Certification of Traceable Microspectrometer Standards is valid for two years. Beyond that period, the Traceable Microspectrometer Standards must be recertified in order to maintain their traceability status. This service requires that the Standards be returned to CRAIC. At CRAIC, the Standards will be inspected for damage, cleaned, and then recertified using a dedicated microspectrometer and NIST Standard Reference Materials as part of the process. The Microspectrometer Standards are then returned with new software and a new calibration certificate. Our key capabilities are:

Statistical Analysis

CRAIC performs statistical analysis on all Traceable Microspectrometer Standards that it certifies in order to maximize their effectiveness. CRAIC is the only company that performs this procedure for microspectrometer standards.

Record Storage

CRAIC stores all of its records of certification both electronically and with hard copies. Copies are always available for customer use.

Only source for qualified recertification of CRAIC Microspectrometer Standards

CRAIC recertifies Traceable Microspectrophotometer Standards and supplies them with the appropriate documentation. For a nominal charge, other manufacturers’ standards can be replaced with CRAIC standards for more accurate calibration measurements.

All returned standards must be in good shape and have been properly certified in order to be recertified. Damaged standard materials must be replaced for a nominal fee. CRAIC has specialists who focus on making the most accurate microspectrophotometer standards possible.
