Introduction

The 20/30 Solar™ microspectrometer is designed for metrology and quality control testing of even the largest photovoltaic cells and their components.  Built to your requirements, this bespoke instrument incorporates the latest technological advances in optics, spectroscopy and software to deliver the best performance for photovoltaic test and metrology processes.  It is easy to use yet able to non-destructively measure reflectance, transmission and film thickness of even sub-micron sized features. As such, the 20/30 Solar™ represents a giant leap forward in photovoltaic metrology and UV-visible-NIR microspectroscopy.

Three measurement techniques and all with the same instrument! The instrument includes CRAIC FilmPro™ thin film software and the option for automation. Additionally, the system can be equipped for UV and NIR imaging, in addition to spectroscopy, for such applications as contamination analysis of photovoltaic cells.

Raman microspectroscopy, high resolution UV microscopy and even NIR microscopy, for through-silicon inspection, are also offered.

The 20/30 Solar™ microspectrophotometer is simple to use, the measurements are non-contact, non-destructive and the spectral data is unmatched.

The 20/30 Solar™ Microspectrometer can take spectra and images from the deep ultraviolet to near infrared with one seamless operation. It can acquire microspectra and images in absorbance, reflectance, and luminescence. The microspectrometer is offered with both the DirecVu™ to view samples by eye as well as with a high resolution UV-visible-NIR digital imaging system. Introduction

The Universal C-mount Adapter™ from CRAIC Technologies was designed for three things:

1. Fit to many microscope models and brands.

2. Adding any camera or spectrophotometer to a microscope photoport.

3. Allowing the camera image to be both parfocal and parcentral with the image from the microscope's eyepieces.

The Universal C-mount Adapter accomplishes all these tasks.  With a proprietary design, it is able to move in the X, Y and Z axes and to allow you easily make your camera image parfocal and parcentral with that of the eyepieces.

With flexible flange design, the Universal C-mount Adapter can be used with many different microscope models and brands.  Just tell us which model microscope that you are using.

Introduction


The CRAIC Technologies Thermal Stage Package is designed for the analysis of samples using variable-temperature microscopy, imaging and microspectroscopy from the deep UV to the near IR.  Applications include materials science research, pharmaceutical and agriculture analysis, and geological and forensic studies. 

The Thermal Stage package from consists of a thermal block configured for transmission and reflectance illumination.  Able to operate in the ultraviolet, visible and near infrared regions, sample temperatures can range from -196 up to 600°C.  The unit can offer both fast heating and cooling of the sample with temperature stability on the order of <0.01°C.  You are also able to maneuver the sample in the X, Y and Z directions for optimal position while acquiring both images and spectra.

Computerized temperature control means that temperature variations can be programmed for the course of the experiment.  This fine level of control means that both large and small variations in temperature can be achieved quickly and easily.

Introduction


CRAIC Technologies™ offers a variety of fluorescent standards designed for calibration of microspectrometers.  CRAIC Fluorescence Microspectrophotometer Standards consist of highly stable inorganic fluorescent pigments embedded in a stable thermoplastic resin. The standards are matte, reducing any potential stray light issues, and designed specifically for use with microspectrophotometers. Activated by UV light, the different  standards emit from the blue into the red and are ideal for calibration of microspectrometers and microfluorometers.

When used with CRAIC microspectrophotometers, these fluorescent standards are part of an in-depth calibration procedure.  They are simple to use and result in high quality microfluorescence measurements.
