Introduction

CRAIC Technologies™ has developed CRAIC TIMEpro™ kinetics software for use with CRAIC instruments. When added to a CRAIC microspectrometer, you are able to determine the changes in spectra over time of microscopic sample areas at a single or multiple wavelengths. Kinetic spectra can be acquired from even sub-micron sample areas by Raman, reflectance, transmission, fluorescence and luminescence microspectra™. The software is very easy to use and is an integrated module of Lambdafire™ microspectroscopy software.

Vitrinite reflectance and point counting of coal, coke and petroleum source rock

GeoImage

GeoImage™ revolutionizes vitrinite maceral analysis by using a camera to quickly and accurately measure reflectance. Designed for organic petrographic analysis according to ISO 7404-5 and ASTM D2798 standards, GeoImage™ reads vitrinite reflectance intensity from each pixel of a calibrated camera, enabling the measurement of millions of points simultaneously. This makes vitrinite reflectance testing fast, easy, and precise.

GeoImage™ is versatile, capable of measuring reflectance from coals, kerogens, petroleum source rocks, and various other materials. Its flexible design includes point counting capabilities, automated test procedures, and high-resolution color imaging. With no moving parts, GeoImage™ is both durable and user-friendly. Built for speed and adaptability, the GeoImage™ system is ready to meet future changes in coal testing methods and support your evolving experimental needs.
